The History Between Us

It has been a roller coaster week but my thesis show was a huge success. I, of course, did not get to this point alone. There is a long list of people in my life who have helped me along this journey. My partners Alex and Matthew have been my studio assistants, second pairs of eyes, cheerleaders, and domestic help through all of this. I think they deserve honorary MFA’s themselves. My thesis committee team has been so supportive - I really could not have asked for better. When I arrived in this program three years ago I got to begin my studies under Kate Roberts (@katerobertsceramics), who has helped push me to the level of work I am doing today and been a constant helping hand. My fellow grad students in the studio department have been a great help over the semesters and Richard Echols (@richy.the.artist) helped me set the show up. All of the faculty here at the University of Memphis have been sources of inspiration and support for me during my studies. I really appreciate what everyone has done for me and I look forward to what life has in store for me next.
