Big Changes!

During the summer, I was offered a position to oversee the ceramics program for the Jefferson Council on Aging in New Orleans. I have been enamored with this city for many years, and the opportunity to relocate here felt like a dream come true. As a result, I have taken a temporary break from my studio work, but I am eager to resume it. I have several innovative ideas in progress for sculpting, drawing inspiration from fresh sources. With the holiday season approaching, I anticipate some challenges in adapting to my new routine, but I am excited to establish a sense of balance in my new environment. I am thankful for the support of my friends and family, who assisted me in moving at short notice, and for the kindness of new acquaintances who have aided me in adjusting to life in this vibrant city.
