Artist Statement
“All of my works tell a story about the complex history that exists between humans and animals. Each form has been opened up to show pieces of that history spanning the many centuries of its creation. We say we can see an animals past in their present forms. Dogs that look like they were bred for speed, horses that act like they were once prey for humans, wolves whose teeth inspired myths and legends. I sculpt forms opened up to show the history with that same feeling.”
